Thanks to all for clairfying this matter. All make sense now, build a $25k ski ride it for a summer and sell it for $18k. Man I wish I would have waited a year to get a ski $5k-$7k less and not have to spend all tha time dealing with buying the right parts and building it. Nice to know members on the X are giving their AM skis away at bargin basement prices...sorry just bitter I missed my window of opportunity :)

I agree with you on that, however, I am learning a lot building my Q8. I'm meeting a lot of new people. Plus I get the pride of building my own ski. Well worth it.

I agree you learn a lot when you build a ski, but I would rather spend my time working on my riding skills, instead of my building skills.

malone knows what he is doing, and is a great guy, lee should have went out what a big cry baby, and another thing what is with all these guys playing with their super flip bars in competition very annoying, and what about the fans that wanted to see him like me, what a way to defend your world championship

Not defending the Q8, but the responsability for the WF performance, or lack thereof, lies with Lee Stone. Would you compete on a ski you had never ridden? The bugs should have been worked out long before the competition. Sponsors? They don't ride the ski.

We all saw him last year. I doubt he forgot how to do it.

The Superfreak is taking over the flatwater.

Some people just want to ride, put it on the trailer, and never touch it again until they pull it off the trailer next time. I personally enjoy the winter builds and projects. You learn a lot and you get to see your creation take shape. Experimenting and trying to find that perfect setup in both engine and handling is fun for me. Sure beats sitting on the couch doing nothing.

Its the FREAK OUT bro, maybe a few Freaks for sale but there are different variations of the Freak so they are not all the same. But bottom line is EVERYTHING is for sale out there, Rickters, ROKS, Q8's, FREAKS, BOBS and anything else you want. This last year was HUGE in the purchase of AM hulls and peeps are realizing they have too many and some are just changing to something new.
Good time to buy for sure.

It is incredible how many there are out there compared to 2009. But really once you go AM you will never get back on an SJ, the new hulls are just too light , short and flat out fun to ride.

WOW!!!!, Still drama over this. Hard to take sides, as we know and someone already said in another thread "there are 3 sides to every story" in this case, lee's, Erics and the truth that lays somewhere in between! Sucks for both that the planning on BOTH parts was poor enough to cost them the WF notoriety they are capable of.
