1200cc is the maximum allowed by IJSBA for competing...

I don't think will there will be any bigger motor and you do not need a bigger motor than 1200cc.....

Anyways, I can't wait to test ride this new beast!!!!

Is the Q8 Sky hull any different from the original Q8? Is the hull design any differnt or is it just the fact that it has a 1200 motor in it?

it has more rocker and the nose front of the bottom deck is more of a V shape

talked to eric today guys. its the original q8 hull that comes with a extra complete bottom half which then dubs it the sky. eric said you silicone it on once you have rode and gotten use to the standard q8. he described it as kinda a skidplate? pretty much more rocker . he said it makes the ski act very different. hope that helps. by the way when you call eme eric actually picks up!!! i thought for sure i was gonna get a secratary or something. he's a really cool guy to talk too. call him up.
