Here are some of the details on it:

All new CAD design from the ground up.
Bottom deck is all new.
Wider with longer chines.
Huge pump tunnel with many hours of testing.
Top deck has a larger foot tray that is slightly angled for better control.
New hood design that is extremely lightweight and stronger.

Engine compartment give you lots of room to work; making the building process easier.
Bond Flange of hull is Angled.

Those are just some design changes I noticed.

However, the true test was in the RIDE.
It is Bad Ass, wow!!!!!
For me ,I loved it wider more stable for landing tricks,back flips ,rolls and flat spins. Because for me, I always struggled on landing spins.
Yet this Roid is very playful.

Bottom line -I put a deposit on one.I liked it that much. Delivery will be mid March!!!

Demo rode the EME Roid hull at havasu this past October after riding some of the other aftermarket hulls out there (rickter, x-metal, tigercraft). I've been riding stand ups for the past 9 years, and AF freestyle skis now for a few years. I currently own an Aerial 8. My first impression when looking at the Roid outta the water was wow this hull looks super wide. I loved how the engine compartment was big enough to get in there to do work if you had too. My riding impression of the ski was that I really liked the width, it adds for extra forgiveness and rebound when doing flat spins and backflips especially when u don't quite get that perfect landing. Super easy to carry and provides some speed to catch up to boats and jump wakes.

All an all, sweet ski, easy to ride, and builds confidence quickly!

Yes. Eric had the ski at Body Beach for people to test ride.
Also wanted to mention that the ski stays on top of the water at take off and slow speeds doesn't ride nose high "no wheelies"

Looking at a roid right now and wanted to get a little more information on it as far as everyone’s opinion on it. There’s not much here. If anyone that has one or rode one could chime in that would be awesome! Thanks!
