there was a thread that was there thismorning and up for quiet a few days about someone who purchased an eme boat and had issues with electrics and not scoop grate if I remember correctly. Where did that thread go? I tried to post on it a little while ago and it said that my message had to be approved first by a moderator. Now I cannot even find the thread existing, wtf?? Please advise, maybe I just can't find it but let me know if you knew which thread I am speaking of.

It got moved from the General forum to the Negative Feedback forum. Rules are a little different in there, every post has to be approved.

It's supposed to be only from involved parties. It'd be nice to get an update for sure. I doubt there is one, seeing how Nolan posted just a few days ago about personally fixing his TL.
Maybe pm him, I don't know.

just curious cause I am a touch new to the whole moderating side of this site, so once something is written and a moderator thinks it is negative about someone or a company, then all posts must go through a moderator and the thread will be moved into the negative feedback section? If that is true and that is what happens wouldn't most of the threads end up in the negative feedback section?? Cause I see a lot of bashing/negativity persay and they are not in the negative feedback section. I am totally not trying to sound like a d bag but I just wish that we could speak our mind(to a point) and have it be posted, not checked for negativity by someone else.

Also my post was not negative at all and I am guessing it is still in que to be posted??

i think it got moved becasue people started with name calling and other things that werent nice, i see that lakeboy still has not heard from him since april26th, i have been in business for 30 years when a customer has a problem i call him back right away, i would not buy anything from eme and other people should be very careful with this company that does not seem to care about its customers

Wow....I just read the entire thread and it sucks!

I can understand the turf thing...for me anyway..

I could never sell someone a turn key ski without testing it...which would have shown a bad TL sys....but if it did manage to get out the door it would be very hard to diag take some time and really make a mess.

Jeesh after reading some of that stuff about EME and other stuff about fitment issues with another big name (for now)....my WDK was balls on in layup, gelcoat, fitment, price, and fun!!

For example: Lets say I purchased a helmet for use in the ocean, I then put it on my head and realize that there is no visor and no strap to keep it on my head. I then go back to the store or call the store and tell them about my helmet and they respond the same way as eme. Then I come onto the X, make a thread about my horrible experience with xyz helmet company. I am pretty sure that xyz helmet company would not have a response to my thread(most likely because they don't check x-h2o or do not even know this forum exists or don't feel like responding)

So in this example, would my thread be moved to negative feedback section? And who determines invovled parties? Aren't we all involved in some way or another(like purchasing items from these companies)

The negative feedback threads are posted for informational purposes. It's a warning to others about the offending party, and nothing more. Most negative feedback posts start life in the proper area of this site, but some (like EME's) got started in the general section, and needed to be moved.

The site has run pretty well for over 6 years with the neg. feedback forum like it is for several of those and most people think it works pretty well. It's for negative feedback on a seller/company where you can state your case without worrying about fanboys or buddies of the other party involved coming in and telling you you're wrong, etc etc.

xjcrawler, I just ran a database search through phpmyadmin, which shows all posts whether deleted or not, for all posts by you containing the word trinity. Here are the results, none of which is deleted:

If I can ever afford a lightwieght, I would defiantly buy one from someone who actually specializes in composite materials (ie. Trinity, Superfreak). Spending $8000 on a hull, I would want the best person available to build it, not someone who can do 10 backflips.

It seems pretty ridiculous that everyone can bash the ski clinic about anything. But if I warn people about trinity composites, I get shut down.

BK, last time I checked little D doesn't run the ski clinic. So if he doesn't like freeride that doesn't mean the ski clinic support freeride. When these east coast hull builders actually start showing up to the west coast freerides, maybe then you guys could start bitching

I understand why WDK gets a bad rap, but it seems there not the only ones with delivery problems. Its such bull that everyone jumps on the bash WDK bandwagon, but get upset when you mention problems with other companys.

WDK has treated my and my buddies better than any other company.

Lets look at some other companys

Xmetal - My buddy order a motor and trim, but only received half his motor and no trim. He got dicked around for a while before he received the rest of his motor and trim.

Trinity Composites - I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but when do the WDK comparisons start? 8 months late on delivery times!

RRP - How many guys have been waiting for the XFS only to have RRP make excuses every couple weeks and push back the delivery time.

Thrust - I waited a couple months for my parts and didn't receive all of them. When I called them on it they said they were out of stock of worx 201's. Why could I have been made aware of this when I order, or when they went to ship this part!?


For all the bandwagon WDK bashers, it seems the industry standard this days is late delivery times and ty customer service. But WDK is still the anti-christ

Short version of the story, my buddy spent close to $40,000 on a complete 1100 matrix, Trinity composites signed a contract for the completion date. The hull was delivered 8 months late after alot of excuses and only because some members on the site actually drove to trinity grabbed the hull and actually assembled it. Brian still owes hims money and parts and I don't know when he ever would have got his ski if it wasn't for a few members on this site

the only posts I ever saw disappear are when people got their panties in a ruffle and requested their accounts be deleted (only to show back up a month later).... Oh, and the two lifetime bans.....

j/k on all previous statements..... the negative feedback seems to work pretty good IMO.
