Looking to switch to an enclosed trailer. I was wondering if anyone has some good ideas for making one jet ski friendly. I would like to fit three standups (2SJ's, SXR). With room in the front for tools, beach cart, shelves, storage or whatever. It would be best if loading and unloading can be done by one person. Open to any suggestions, pictures are always great.

We used an enclosed trailer for the Daytona Freeride. It was the biggest PITA ever. I will never do that again. Open trailer is much more beach friendly. If your gonna do it, make sure the trailer is huge with plenty of height.

I'm about to do this myself. 6x14 v nose trailer w/tandem axle.
dual rear doors-not a ramp door, and a 36" side door.

1st ski will go up frt and down the middle of the trailer
2nd and 3rd ski's will go nose in sitting at left rear and right rear.

approx 30" high there will be a left and right fold down 'table' so to speak that will fit over ski's during transport to have another level of 7x14 space for beach cart and stuff.

reason for no ramp door is I don't want to lift SJ's off of trailer floor and up onto beach cart-open barn doors, roll beach cart up to trailer-slide ski's off of trailer onto cart.

picture this

looking into back of trailer
u see on the left a 7' long x36" high piece of wood mounted to left wall on hinges 30" high folded up against wall

u see the same thing on the right side

ski's are now loaded

fold down left and right 'wings' and u now have one MASSIVE shelf for the reast of your crap.

I have not decided yet but think the barn door style would be the best. I want to be able to use the trailer as permanent storage with room for tool box and be able to move around and work on skis. The biggest issue is would be loading and unloading by myself. I have a few ideas from simply the beach cart to electric winch and pulleys to load the skis and raise them up leaving space below.

I like that WolfChild. If garage space was not going to be an issue at the house I am moving to that would be the way to go. However, the enclosed trailer is going to act as a "quasi" garage for me. I could incorporate the same system though to load the enclosed trailer.
