Super Jet Engine Falls Flat

When cruising my 2014 SJ at full throttle for about a two minutes the engine just dies out, float for a couple of minutes and starts back up and goes. Can ride all day long with no issues, trying to figure out what could be causing the engine to fall flat? changed fuel filter, etc....

Hey just ask me what lean means, burpt 3 sets of pistons last year.. i was "pist n broke". Learned from my mistakes.

Run 32:1 and open your jets up some more. You are likely seizing, nothing like hearing that "BRAAAAAA---URK" then you just cruise to a stop ;):D

Do not run 50:1 if you have mods. Very stupid. I learned.

I wouldn't go lower then 40:1 unless you are breaking in a new engine.

@Roseand just schooled me on this. Learn something new every day
Yeah, for the most part you can benefit from a higher oil ratio. But some engines would benefit more than others.. On a stock 701, running 32:1 is overkill. Save a few extra bucks, run 40:1 and be plenty safe.

The engine is stock with a B-Pipe and 35cc domed ADA girdled head, been running 40:1 ratio Yamaha oil since I purchased the ski new

Can someone recommend a guide on how to tune jets? I need to do this and need to sort of learn on my own. Guy at the ocean here told me he could tell my jets were wrong but he said something along the lines of "but you're on the safer side of wrong - you just need to get them to where they belong".
