You flatwater roll with 0% body english, just turn the bars? legs almost straight with no leaning to the side?

I think he might also have just a little more powa than you currently do :silly:

IMO, the vid is great for seeing how to make & hit a set up wake, but not to flatwater roll a *normal* ski.

Mine's a 1000 with all the goodies in a 56lb hull. Please tell us at which point the rolls become a simple turning of the bars. Because my setup is not it.

So would you say it DOES NOT require more rider imput (SKILL) to roll a stockish ski vs a pimped clown ski?

It may take less input, but that input better be a spot on. Otherwise that roll will look like chit, the big motor will only amplify height and the mistakes in input, and you will still land on your side.
If you can't do the roll properly on a stockish setup, then you won't be able to pull it off on the clown boat, either (how do I know?)
Look, backflips are often cited as a trick that you can buy, no skill required. That's not quite true, but close enough. You still need some practice.
However, rolls are not that way at all. You better know what you're doing to pull off a clean roll on a big power boat.

Freaking rolls are hard, i've tried off big boat wakes and my form is horrible all i end up doing it side ways landing feels like the ski will fall apart and me. Rolls are going to be hard either way light hull or heavy hull
