Mine is for sale if anyone is interested. Came off a 62T motor with 38's. 30 bucks shipped.

I have a 760 one coming back from jetworks filled already and don't need this one.

I know this is a pretty old thread, but I'm considering which route to take on this mod. I'm doing a ported 735 with Boyesen Rad Valves, ADA head at 180 PSI and I'm going to run stock 38's (jetted accordingly of course). Should I epoxy fill the crossover on the stock 62T intake manifold or leave it alone?

Leave it alone with stock 38’s

Just a little quick mention here because I read a few guys were claiming good things about the R&D manifolds. I contacted R&D about this very thing a good few years ago because I had a rare R&D 62t manifold with the crossover. I asked them which was a better performing manifold for freeride/freestyle, with or without crossover channel. His response was with it. He said they found the manifolds with the channel had better holeshot performance. He said they stopped making them with the crossover because demand was for the racing circuit where it performed better on top. I've left all my OEM manifolds alone for this very reason. I just recently setup a pair of SBN46 carbs on an OEM 64x manifold bored out at the carb side only to match the gasket diameter. That ski pulls real hard :)

I recently put a set of oem 44's with oem manifold on my 84mm 61x. I used reverse getting that was the most common in the carb jetting thread, and filled the crossover. I haven't even had to turn a screw on the carbs since install at the beginning of the summer. I doubt it makes much difference either way when you get into the more modded motors.
