Other epoxy cure time

This is my second time to lay glass.

I mixed a small amount of epoxy (U.S. Composites med cure) and after 2 hours it was still gooey. I thought I got the mix wrong, but this morning it was solid. Temp was around 75 F. Does temp have that much effect on cure time?

Is this a good cure or should I redo?

epoxy takes a long time. go to uscomposites.com they show cure times for temps for their products. ive seen it take 2 or 3 days if the weather is cooler. your layup will be fine. i think medium cure is like an 8 hour cure time at 80 degrees

temp and humidity affect cure times
a little slower cure is better as quick cure tends to be brittle
should be good to go

Exactly what was said by the above posters.

Epoxy is sensitive to temp and humidity. Also, when you are mixing, make sure your mix for 2 minutes, no more, no less. This ensures that the two components are thoroughly mixed for the proper chemical reaction to take place.
