Eric Malone Freestyle Clinic on September 16th

Eric Malone and the WFWA are pleased to announce a Freestyle Jet Ski Clinic on September 16th, 2006 at a location near Eric’s hometown of Altoona, PA.

This day long Clinic will feature all the secrets to take your Freestyle skills to the next level by providing; Set-up and technical advice, skill instruction, physical instruction and mental edge. The clinic will include group, individual, and practice instruction throughout the day, followed by a Saturday evening out with Eric and the WFWA crew. Eric will perform a couple routines throughout the day and everyone will have a chance to see the technology that has taken freestyle to the next level.

Personalized instruction is the theme of this event and other pro riders will be on-site to help out with clinic! Free T-shirts, DVD’s and a chance to ride one of Eric’s boats.

For information or how to register of the event go to www.jetskishows.com and click the contact form.

If your interest is Runabout or X-2 freestyle then we got you covered, so ask about that type of training.

Has anyone on X-h2o done one of Eric's freestyle clinics? What did you think?

Sounds like its more of a watch Eric backflip for 6 hours than anything. He's not going to teach you to do much of anything in 1 day. Lenzi took Lee under his wing for over a year. 300 dollars can't be spent better elsewhere.

I am not going to get in a great debate about this, but people spend hundreds and even thousands on clinics and camps to get better in everything from baseball to wrestling to singing and they do it because it works. I personally spend up to $60 per hour for my sons skating lessons (not counting ice time) and he got the solo last year in the ice show.
The one thing we can guarantee is that Eric will spend most of his time doing what the small group asks him to do, but I see Eric spending most of his time personally helping each rider individually and as a group. Eric will find and correct small flaws in your technique and boat set-ups, which may be holding you back. We have a good scheduled plan of attack for the day to make each rider better, which will include a lot of fun. Five of the seven spots are already taken!

My though about it is Malone has done these clinics for a few years now so he has had time to work out what works best for people of different riding levels. He definatly has things to teach  I think I will learn allot for other riders as well. I have only been on the water spriatically this year so having a nice focused day of riding and getting some instruction is just what I need. My riding level goes up anytime I ride with people better than me so that will be a plus as well. Sound like a good time.
