Et 1100 and B pipe???

My mates running an et 1100 and pfp in a 2014 XFS.

He wants to run a full size tank and B pipe in the surf for the winter.

Has anyone ran the b pipe with an 1100 and how did it perform?

Cheers

You need a spacer for the B pipe manifold to clear the power valves. Or at the very least you have to grind down your B pipe to clear it. Not sure how they run, I know you'll be losing some serious power switching from a lay down to a B pipe tho

Cheers guys, the main reason for running the B pipe is that the pfp wont last 5 mins in the surf.

TBH I think he will be happy if it tames it down a bit.

Talking about in his Edge.

Yeah he blew a coupler in a heat at grayland open a few years back with his rrp and I think that was the end of the Lay down pipe for him. He rode it back in with the hood popped and grabbed a different ski.

I have ran a pfp with an 1100 for the last 3 seasons in surf. Works great and I have the ti5 tank

Edit: I found when pulling exhaust I could not reuse couplers without them blowing off in surf, did not have the same problem at the lake.

some years back, when everybody started running 1000cc motors in surf, they all used Bpipes and stock electronics.
you are going to lose top end for sure but you don't really need high Rs in the surf.
I went from a speedworks dry to a Bpipe and lost the high revs, but I was good with that.
