If I remember correctly they were a lighter lay up than the beta one we got in for Dave (that sank at drr last year), but was still glass

ok i remember - it was a carbon kevlar hood - check this thread, not many people can trace back their hulls to its origins - will be cool you can see where they came from

"Weighed in two of the three skis last night. Hull, pump shoe no hoods one weighed 61.4 lbs the second 61.0 not too shabby. Hoods average with a liner at 10 lbs, bolts and ride plate and add it all up and you get one nice lightweight package at 75lbs for a glass hull."
