The bolt holes in the compressor cover seriously looks like a carb would bolt up to it... Just run one big carb. Probably wouldnt need an expansion chamber if thats the case it might not even add to much weight. Just wonder how it would like water running though it. SS hotside would be a must. I have boosted plenty of cars just never a carbed motor. I would like to fiind some info on that fosho.

Turbo charging a 2-stroke is just going to blow raw gas into the cylinder and right out the exhaust port before the piston has a chance to come back up... It'll be much more trouble than it could be worth.

And don't those snow mobiles use CVTs...? You could make the turbo work, but for a very narrow power band. We try to have a very broad power band with jet skis; no CVT to keep RPMs constant...

Turbo snowmobiles don't need any port timing or exhaust chamber mods to use a turbo affectively. Sleds run from 1000-9000rpm during normal operation, not just peak rpm with the use of a cvt. I know of a few turbo and supercharged 2-stroke couches that ran very well. I'm not saying it's bolt on easy, but it's not as difficult as some are making it out to be.

There are 2 situations in which that turbo would work in a jet ski: 250cc Direct Injected 2-stroke with an intake port much taller than the exhaust port, or a 400cc 4-stroke, both of which must go in a race standup or any sitdown, A turbo doesn't like BRAP it goes bbbbrrrrrraaAAPPPPPPP. That turbo is intended for a go-cart, lawnmower or moped which all have much lower displacements than a jet ski. Not to mention the reliability, weight, complexity, and tuning aspect which in a jet ski you must design with the KISS principle.

IDK tiny trubo on a big motor would be pretty snappy. I dont know how it would work for sure just have to try it. I have seen sleds with no expansion chamber run boost just fine also. oiling would be an issue but not to bad since skis have a battery for an electric pump.
