Anyone know (or could measure for me) the exit diameter on a Badass exhaust?

2015 Carbon Badass here.

Looks to be 90mm ID however it's a pain to measure to the angle of the tube.

Thx. Just looking for ball park figure.

I'm almost certain the large exit bore combined with it being composite versus metal deadens the exhaust note compared to the straight 2-21/4" tubes on some AM hulls. I can't stand the loud, sharp note on my ski especially when I'm riding in the same area practicing. The repetitive noise is annoying to me and I'm sure to neighbors. I've added as much water as I'm gonna to my water box so this is a quick project/trial.

Keep in mind (and maybe you already know this) that Tem not only goes bigger diameter, but he also dumps the exhaust into that 90mm tube from the top at an angle. So his exhaust tube is a 2-piece system that works a bit like a muffler. It is not straight through.

Good point. I can't mimick the bend with composite. Any ideas? I'm 99% fresh water but not sure if I could get away with an aluminum or stainless elbow mated with the carbon? Bonding and galvanic corrosion concerns.

Make an elbow by cutting a v-shaped notch in the upper piece of composite tube. Bend it down, epoxy it together and then wrap it in more glass or carbon.

U really gonna tear into the tray and go through all this because it's loud? We are "the smokers" of Tobo man! There should be no shame in your game. Represent!

True. Haven't committed yet but remember it's a open tray so it's a "simple" project.

When everyone was running the XMW duel exhaust on BB's "back in the day lol" we would add a spray bar and reroute the pisser just as the exhaust is exiting the hull. Not sure how or why but it really knocks down the sound for front exhaust ski's.

I agree, my chan is loud as hell too, very annoying especially without a helmet. Even with more than needed water injected.

Only thing I can think of it 1 the straight through exhaust or 2 the dent where it goes through the bulkhead (the one everyone had a hissy about) creates some sort of resonance effect causing the exhaust note to bounce around.
