just like any higher compression head/domes. stock heads are usually safe to run with 87 octain some aftermarket heads/domes are safe to run higher compression with 92 octain pump gas (usually 185psi or lower) and some heads/domes create very high compression that requier race gas.

is that what you are looking for?

uhh not sure. i already know about a/m heads retaining more compression. im more curious about this particular dome. say, an ADA girdled head with this watcon dome running 200psi (should be 100+ octane), but can you run a 92 octane now?

that would be a nice product, just not sure if thats what it actually does.

Like WaveDemon says. Its just a higher compression dome that is 91/92 pump gas safe.

Quote from Watcon -
"Increase the throttle response and acceleration with our higher compression domes. The compression ratio is increased to offer better performance, while still offering reliability and the ease of 92 Octane fuel."

did you ever figure out that octane booster thing you and your friend were talking about in front of the library that one day?

haha not really, more like gave up on it.

113 - i was just curious what kind of compression you can run while still using 91/92 octane. i think its more of a product maker question, just thought maybe someone out there already knew.

or am i still completly oblivious and ramdling...
