External fuel pump

I have some novi 48s I'm using on a future setup for my ski that are set up to use external pumps.

What are the best ways to mount the pump? I see thrust innovations had a bracket at one time but its no longer on the website? Also know about the blowsion bracket but it seems very overpriced. What other ways are there to handle this?

The cart tank has a single threaded hole in it so I made a triangular piece of aluminum plate with one hole to run a bolt through into the tank thread and used two bolts to bolt the ears of the fuel pump to the plate.

I haven't had any trouble with the pulse line length at all however I was thinking of relocating it to the wall closer to the carbs just to clean up around the tank a little and make more room for my breather tubes. The reason for an external fuel pump is the single pump supplies fuel to both carbs with the same flow and pressure.

I run 1100 carbs on my 701 raider with an external pump and it runs just fine.

A restrictor at the final carb on a set of duals should keep fuel pressure the same throughout the entire system.

I did the same as durhamgoat and it's been pumping tanks dry just fine for 2 seasons. I used the tank insert and sandwiched a pan head bolt between two pieces of turf for the top fastener. #60 jet in the return. I was concerned about the pulse line length too but have since seen pro flatwater skis with the pump on the pfp waterbox.

Thanks for all the help.

I'm seeing Atlantic jetports recommending a 100-120 her in the return line restrictor for novi 48s, maybe I will try a 110 jet to start

I dont think it makes a difference which version you have, or if you even have Novis or duals or triples. If you have the internal restrictor drilled out like Novi's do, you're looking for that ideal return pressure. If I remember right, my triple setup on my 1200 runs a #115 main jet. For the dual Novis, I guess a #60 main jet is the ideal. You'll probably be fine just running that.
