F-ing pole!!

So I was putting in a new fuel filter today and noticed a crack in my roundnose pole that runs the entire length of the side!!! Upon further investigation, I noticed that I can push down on the right handlebar and pull up on the left and open this crack up to about 1/4". I did wrap both the bottom and the top w/ glass when I shortened it and the crack still went through the layers on the top of the pole. Don't want to fix it right now so hopefully duct tape will hold for a few more weeks. Has this ever happened to anyone??:dunno:

Took it out tonight and the tape held up great!! Redneck indeed, but I'll wait until it's too cold to ride before I start laying fiberglass.

What primer?LOL. Dude, my knee was killing me at work all day! That things fish food now. What didn't end up @ the bottom of the river is probably permanently embedded under my knee cap never to be seen but forever to be sore!
