I'm in Ft. Myers, FL (basically). It's in decent shape. Just had the carb redone for $80. Has a 5-6" tear in one of the side tray pads, but that's it. I ordered a new latch for the hood, it will be included for the new buyer. I have a NICE trailer for an extra $400. It's as new, no title. I'll take $2200 for the ski, $400 for the trailer. I know what the FX-1 is worth (I've been riding stand ups since 1990) so please don't low-ball me. I WILL DELIVER FOR A VERY RESONABLE FEE.

No, smartass, I DID NOT know where to post For Sale ads, and if you'd look at my posting number you would see that I am a NEW user to this site, and, rather than be a jackass and insult me, you would have politely pointed out where I shoud have posted.
"Hi, I'm Mouthfulloflake, and even though have have over 4K posts on this site, I'm a totally jackass to new users".
I coulda guessed that you were from NW Arkansas....so is my mother-in-law, and I can see you are JUST like her....Be respect full to new uses, butthole.

I said you were being honest?

Im not sure I understand the 'insult' part.

oh well.. good luck with the sale, if you ever find the right forum, it seems like a clean boat.

she must not be from the same part of NWA that IM from, that sounds more like a Pine Bluff dialect to me.

I'm selling the FX-1 for two reasons: 1) I want a wave jumping ski for down here. You're right, an FX-1 can be a blast down here on the coast, but for me, I never really felt as stable on it as I do a SuperJet. So, I'm looking for a RN superjet, and I think I found a pretty good deal on a 2006 down here with 10 hours on it.
Second, I bought it pretty right, and I've got about $150 in parts and about 2 days in labor getting it ready, and now I'm thinking it's a good way to get the money for the superjet.
I am thinking of keeping it if I don't ge the right offer. I'm going to teach my wife to ride this winter, probably next week, and she's 5'2" and 110lbs, and a former world class gymnast. I'm thinkin' she'd really like that ski, and would probably be a very good racer. So I might hold on to it a little longer just in case. I'm gonna start her out on a couch 2001 ZXi, then to my 96 Blaster II, and see what happens.

The ski in the background is a 2001 Kawi ZXI 1100, which I have TWO of, and they are both for sale. I'd take $2400 cash a piece for them right now, which is a STEAL. ((honest, it is). :brap:

No, I wanted to make a deal to buy THAT ski, but we couldn't figure out how to get it to me cost - effectively. This ski has an interesting story: It sat unused for a number of years as a law firm bought it brand new to use as an exhibit in a court case. The guy I got it from got it after that and had it until I got it.
Got it?

Did the guy in RI give you much information on the ski. I have tried to ask him several questions and he hasn't been very forthcoming.

Yeah, not really. I think it's become obvious that it was a race boat, and, that being said, the details that he wants to give out are sketchy at best. However it IS an FX-1, so the guys who want them don't really care. They just want them.
