I'm going to teach my wife to ride this winter, probably next week, and she's 5'2" and 110lbs, and a former world class gymnast. I'm thinkin' she'd really like that ski, and would probably be a very good racer. So I might hold on to it a little longer just in case. I'm gonna start her out on a couch 2001 ZXi, then to my 96 Blaster II, and see what happens.

The Blaster II IS a couch, make no mistake.

If she really was a world class gymnast, it's a total waste of time not to just put her on either a Superjet or an FX-1. Training her on a PT boat is only going to teach her bad habits.

Get her on a stand-up right off the bat
