Factory (Limited) Pipe Worth It?

Been riding and building skis most my life... Never really put much thought regarding numbers or data provided by testing. The true test of an upgrade by any rider will be realized when you pilot the ski.. That is where the true effect is measured. Don't think many would care much what the torque or HP numbers are if the power delivery and performance is not put to the water effectively. Fact is, the FP B Pipe when properly tuned for any specific application delivers a linear and extremely usable power band.[/QU

perfectly stated - the overall change in SJ performance is KEY.......not some numbers FP are claiming.

I love this thread. Bringing back to the front. As an owner of 2010 superjet... The factory pipe is definitely worth it. Took 10 months of backorder. Glad I waited and paid the new price.

I ride in high altitude Denver. Power is there. Wish I had it when living in Phoenix at sea level!

^ That is the type of performance I would want from a pipe.
Any suggestions on how to tune an original Factory Pipe for the FX-1 pipe (with the dimple) for a linear and usable power band on a single carb 61x?
