What...?I just tug up a wb1 chamber with a 308 rod ran like dream. When I've welded the casting in the past the dirt cast made a little bit of a challenge but doable
Someone talked about cutting the chamber and bending it. In the past when I tig welded a manifold the impurities in the cast posted a problem. But the stainless chamber that I just welded a crack in welded up really nice. So I was trying to get at it mite be a better option.What...?
That's good.Got it. The chamber is aluminum rolled and welded now so it should weld good if I go that way. I did weld up a rub hole already so I know it will weld.
I wasn't sure about the dirt casting part... Since Factory Pipe makes the manifold and head pipe, I'd like to assume they use the same sand casting process, and I haven't had issues welding either of the manifolds I've welded.Someone talked about cutting the chamber and bending it.
