Ok, double stripped.
The SXR Factory Wet PiPe is 12 years old. About a decade ago I drilled it out the 3 holes in the manifold and helicoiled them. It lasted 10 years, but this year, the helicoils started to spin and come out when I put in stainless bolts. Tried replacing the helicoils, but they just spin in the mani. Pipe falls off every time I ride.
BTW, identical head pipe to SJ.
I am thinking of drilling them out bigger, filling em up with weld, decking, re-drilling and re-tapping back to FP threads.
What is the original FP theads?? 10m by 1.00? I forget.
Should I just get another Mani and who would have one?
