Factory Pipe: "We have no pipes at this time"?

I called Factory Pipe this afternoon and a lady named Heather told me they had "no pipes in stock at this time".
I find it unbelievable that they wouldn't hire people or do whatever it took to keep products in stock that apparently are such hot sellers that they can't keep them on the shelves.

Maybe there is an untapped market here for someone with the right skillset.

Right!? They basically charge whatever they want, and as far as I know, do not even have dealer pricing. On top of that, seem to run out of stock often. Meanwhile there are people waiting in line for them. What's the problem FP?

Good info,

If I am not mistaken, They have been having the Wet Pipes outsourced for a few years. Yes, I said Wet Pipes, that is the more correct name for them!

Riva and Blowsion are the only two 'legacy' dealers. No other dealers are setup in the US.

Powerfactor came out with an alternative, but then we find out that the manifold is supplied by Factory Pipe! RRP comes out with a pipe, but they source the manifold from PFP who mods it to their spec but is the same manifold. So FP still causes backorders of all 3 pipes! (RRP is supposed to be sourcing their own manifold soon.)
