Anybody had issues with the newer style couples that FPP is supplying with new pipes? My chamber keeps getting pushed off.

Cannot get it to stay on. Damnnest thing I have seen. You tighen up the clamp and it literally squeezes the coupler out from under it.

Had the same problem with one we bought new about two years ago. It came apart on him while riding a couple of times.

That's weird. Do you have a picture of the coupler?

Looks like the same one I have. Never an issue. I have no doubt you know what you are doing but any chance there is any oil on the inside of the coupler or on the outside of the chamber? You might have to try a different clamp. Rad Dudes sells a beefy clamp and coupler that I bet would do the trick.

Perfectly clean and dry. The coupler is just to soft. You can actually watch it start popping out from under the clamp

Most kids now would not get it, " why hairspray on grips, they bolt on"
...let alone using pop rivets or safety wire to keep a fresh pair of Renthal medium grips in place. Now even they're offered in a locking version.

Kids have it easy these days.

Yup. I did the Big Headed Rivets on my SJ also at one time when I was racing. Totally forgot about that! amazing how those 2 or 3 rivets would actually keep the grips from spinning.
