Factory Pupe Couplers

Dang, never seen them slip off like that. I thought when its all connected the waterbox would help keep it all pushed tight up into place. Thanks for the heads up, ill keep an eye out if i use my spare coupler i think is a new one.

I use to have the same problem. Had to clean everything with carb cleaner before putting it together and I switched to tbolts. Even then you could watch the coupler squeeze out as you tightened it down.

I hate those damn silicone couplers. I use Shields flex II wet exhaust hose. Its extremely durable and you can tighten your clamps as much as your heart desires. Ive watched a silicon coupler slowly squeeze out of a clamp too if it where to tight, thats never been a problem with this other hose. All my friends are slowly starting to use it too, no one has ever had a problem with it slipping out or coming apart.
