factory type 4 dry pipe- need aftermarket reeds?

i recently installed a factory type 4 dry pipe on my x swapped sn, im running stock reeds. theyre in perfect condition, i checked before installing the pipe, just to make sure. will the stock reeds hold onto 7500+ rpm? or should i invest in aftermarket reeds. if i should invest, what do you recommend i should buy? not looking for super performance as its faster then i can handle with just the pipe. looking for longevity, i read that some of the carbon reeds will degrade rather quickly, and i ride 2-4 hours a week. thanks!

Really need a tach with Max rpm recall. And make sure the pump never comes unhooked during on water tach run. Readings can be misleading.

I have no idea about your reed question, but I'm thinking if the stock reeds are steel, I would definitely get those out of there just so that if they do go it has some chance of not wrecking your motor.

Depends what your goals are you need to play with different props and see what they do. Some of the older design props will run pretty good. If it were my boat I might try for a skat 12/17 with a small hub and see what it does
