fall 2012 freeride

I havnt seen any talk of a fall freeride yet but i was wondering if we could do it on Galveston this year instead of surfside between the seawall and san louis? I have a house nearby that can sleep alot of people as well

I've only ridden fresh water. Would you guys teach a newb to surf riding?

When I say a newb I mean to surf not to riding. I've been riding since the '80s.
