Fast Elements customer service

We are sorry for the issues on this order, we have sent a PM to you and want to get everything corrected. Sorry if we haven't picked up the phone the last few weeks, there have been quite a few changes and hopefully will help with order fulfillment and communication in the future.

Regards,

Steve

So heres a little update because i have far exceeded the breaking point. Everything appeared to be settled and figured out. (Steve?) i think gave me a call and apologized for everything. Offered to refund my throttle because they didnt have it in stock and even said (said) he'd hook me up with some free shirts and stickers. Its been a few weeks, i recieved a package last tuesday that seemed rather small. It was missing my flame arrestors, hood strap, grips, and tow loop. And had a bonus item ( a battery tray i did not order) I had known my turf was coming from a different company so i left that out of the mix. I waited hoping maybe another package was on the way but i havent recieved anything. I still have yet to recieve a refund for the throttle. and it also humored me that i recieved the 1 shirt i PAID for in the package and nothing else. So ive been wasting my time calling /messaging whatever to try and figure this out . No answer or reply for days so ive had it. Id like to build my jetski. Expedite my stuff or i would like to send this poop back and take my business elsewhere.

I ordered a ATP waterbox and a UMI trim lever from them for my ski, waited 3 weeks, finally decided to call. "Oh, the waterbox is on back order." Another 2 weeks go by, follow up - still on back order. Arrives a few weeks later - I borrowed my friends TDR box at that point - and there is a Blowsion lever in the box, not a UMI to match my finger throttle... I'm not too particular when it comes to matching name brand parts on my ski, but when someone substitutes or a part is on back order, it should be communicated, that is all.

Should just order straight from ATP....I got a part from them from across the pond in under a week.

+1 on ordering straight from ATP. Have placed 3 orders with them now, excellent customer service fast and free shipping and there prices are better

Eric,

I'm sorry for the issue with your order. Good luck with your build and riding this summer. As far as some products, such as ATP, the import duty fees is what really adds to the pricing. 550/440 sent you a PM to follow up on the mispicked order.

Fast Elements had an incredible sale on them, a really unbeatable deal. I've seen used ones going for more than what I paid, but holding up my build was a bummer, especially since the lakes weren't frozen over.

Is this something that just started recently? I ordered about $3k worth of parts from ATP last year and wasn't charged any fees, but this year I order a few parts and get hit with a $30 bill from UPS.

I didnt get hit with any fees and bought from them a couple weeks ago.

I am getting something shipped from them as well. They gave it to UPS but without a commercial invoice so UPS can't ship it until they receive that. I contacted fast elements and they said they would email them one. 3 days later UPS still hasn't received the invoice. I cannot get a hold of anyone at fast elements. Tried pm, voice mail, and email. I have had a hard time contacting them through the whole process of my order. Not happy...

just going to jump in on this one as i have lived this for the last few years .... when you order as a private individual it seems that fees/dutyies are hit and miss when goods come across the border, into the US its more miss, seems the US govenrment doesnt care about collecting duties/taxes .....

As a legitimate business there is no choice but to pay the taxes and duties that the government of that country legally requires you to pay

jet ski parts, depending on what they are and what the broker classifies them as, here in Canada, they can attract anything from 0-18% duty, this is on top of paying the broker to do their job and also then wonderful taxes

sorry totaly off topic... but just speaks to why prices end up being "higher"

I am in the exact same boat as you "SNscary"... I ordered a pole and steering plate from "Fast Elements" a month ago so that I would have them for 4th of july weekend and here it is the 2nd of july and still nothing! He did contact me and said "Xscream" had the poles in powdercoating and I would see it soon and told me that I would have it by the first of july as I requested.... that was a couple weeks ago. I have called Xscream and they have them IN STOCK.... but fast elements does not seem to care! I have not been able to get ahold of them....

ordered- June 5th
payment taken out- June 9th
still not received... not even the steering plate that has been in stock! come on guy! grrrrr
