97 701 RN bpipe, Ada head, dual carb
Obviously I am going to do some test and tune today but wanted to see if there was any insight
So I've got my FCV before stinger on straight leg of The
My problem is, besides the ski running great, is when I am at 1/4 throttle or so and pin it I get a hesitation. It's a very slight one so it is hard to tell whether it's a bog or hesitation and yesterday I could only adjust one carb(didn't have flat head with me)
Now when I'm riding g 1/4 throttle and I blip the throttle, let off then pin it I get NO hesitation.
For example if I am going for a nose stab (no wake set up just riding straight) if i try to pre hop to the right then stab to the left I have to blip throttle first, then prehop to right then stab left.
If I try to prehop before I blip throttle it doesn't get out of the water enough
Another example is if I'm going for a set up wakes I can't hold throttle and then pin it when I want, I have to either keep blipping the throttle or just give it a quick blip
To me it sounds like a FCV issue but thought maybe with the warm weather we're having I'm noticing it more now so possibly a mixture setting
Maybe someone with more experience than me would know what I'm talking about and possibly know right away by the sound of it
