I have an extra squarenose hood that is stock. I have tried to sell it with no luck, its in great shape. I have considered doing the Yamaslut hood mod to it just as I did to my own, and selling it.

However, I wont do it if its just going to sit at my house some more. Is anyone interested in having this done for them and then buying it, saving you the time and hassle of making it yourself? I'd assume pricing would be around $300 or so, covering materials and my time to make it. It's not the easiest thing to do, but takes time, especially if you want it to look good.

Just a thought, since I kind of need something to do and wouldn't mind doing it for someone.

well, is $300 out of your range? Like I said thats a rough estimate.

would you want handholds, or not? I put them in mine but find them rather useless, except for taking off the hood. I can do one on one side for removing the hood if thats what you'd like.

Shoot me a PM with what you want, and we can talk about it

handholds are good for numerous freestyle tricks. if youre not a freestyler, theyre useless.... unless youre taking off your hood.

$300 is a very reasonable price considering the amount of work that goes into a well done SN hood mod.

do you have any pics of yours?

I might be interested. I'm trying to determine if I need a modified hood. I'm a newbie obviously, and I plan to try some limited freestyle and light surf riding. What are the advantages to the mods you are performing?
