Super Jet Finally got a SJ RN 2004 how did I do?

Got this about 3 weeks ago up here in MI for , has MSD enhancer, B pipe, shortend pole, foothold, girdled head, bored over 1/2 mm past stoke, each cylinder had 170 psi, whole motor was ported, aftermarket water box, stoke carb with after market reeds, I also put a lightened flywheel one it when I tore it all down to clean and paint inside of hual black.

The ski came with a wet suit, one place trailer, life jacket and a ton of stoke parts. Was wondering what you all thought about the buy and what I should put on it this winter? I did find a guy up here that makes short hoods and tubbies for less than 400 for all of them. anyway I paid $4500 for everything original owner. Thanks guys!

Who's making these short hoods for less than $400? They care to open up their market place at all? I'd drive out to MI from Chicago for the right priced lowered hood.

I think it's a real good deal. I bought my '04 superjet, stock, last summer for $3500, and have since put way more than the difference ($1000) this guy paid for his and I'm not ported, don't have a lightend fly wheel, still have stock waterbox and reeds, and he got a trailer and a wetsuit with the mix.

Thanks guys I found the guy selling the hoods on craiglist, hes out of Novi MI. Just spoke with him im getting a set of tubbies, hood and nose peace all painted for around $500. I think his prices were $350 for glass hood and nose, then $800 for all carbon. Give him a call if your interesred his number is 248-880-1983. He told me they are pritty much like the 24/7 hood design.
