Finally got my Blaster done YIPPEEE!!!!!

:arms:Finally finished my Blaster build. Now just have to get out and make it thru break in. Still need to get some graphics or stickers, but it is rideable now. Also got to install my foot straps still, but wanted to wait till I can get on the water and see where the sweet spot is for my feet. It's been a while can't quite remember what position felt the best. At this point only thing I am concerned about is my jetting. I have never delt with setting up dual carbs only singles,as this originaly had a 61X case in it.I posted a link to my other thread I have going about that. #.0 gave me a good starting point. I would like a few more if any body has some, just would like to get a good baseline for starting this thing. I don't want to cook it with in the first few minutes. Thanks for any help/ specs you can give.http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/34277

Looks goooooood ! Btw I use a 12/17 cutback freeride swirl with 84mm nozz and a ww cone for the surf , I have a similar eng setup but with dual 44 's, it hits real nice

Thanks,I'm still waiting on my impeller. I currently have my old skat track in. Im thinking of going with a 12/16 that Impros has just came out with, its set back 3mm as well I believe they are calling it the "Hooker" for obvious reasons. I was wondering about boring my nozzle, I thought about going 85mm. Is this a good mod to do? I hope this thing will hit real hard. I can't hardly wait, but all the lakes are flooding, and full of trash/debris right now from all the run off and were expecting 4'' more of rain in the next 24hrs.

yes boring helps alot when you have the brap to push the volume and im sure your eng will ! You can always bore bigger but you cant go back . ! my pump setup works well with LPW BB and full porting . could it be better ? possibly ! but im extremlyhappy with it the way it is and dont plan on changing this set up for quite a while !

You make a good point here. Maybe I should just go with the 84mm like you mentioned. I can still have room to play if I really needed to. How is your ski for cruising across the lake, such as going from the ramp to say an area where one would play. Do you still have good cruising speed, say like 1/4-1/2 throttle? I'm not to worried about topend of course.

Nah - just throw in NOS and call it a day- you can adjust the nitrous jetting to accommodate your power needs - its the best HP money can buy and reliability is better when your not messing with bore plus it helps any tuning issue you could have

Nice blue - looks like Factory Yamaha racing color.....??

Good luck

It is Yamamoto blue. The same color that is on the Dirtbikes basically, if anyone would like PM me and I can give you the code for it. It is PPG paint, single stage with clear over the top for a little added protection. I painted my wife's Blaster this color several years ago and I really like it so I sprayed mine with it.

Hey onesjourner I see your from Springfield Mo, So am I, are you watching the lake levels? WOW!!

Don't worry you wont get bored cruising across the lake , mine will still make your eyes water !

D@mn bro, that thing is CLEAN! Nice looking build. That is pretty much what I want to build as my surf ski.

Great job,
Scott

Well I think I am officially ready to go now, finally got em' on the trailer. It seems to be warming up nicely now I believe the water is abou 65-68 on the surface. So maybe this weekend I will get it in the water.
