finished turfing the tray of my REV last night

my last sheet was about 2" too narrow so I had to finish the back corners with scraps uke:


didnt come out absoutly perfect, but Im happy.....



its outfitted for a front strap as well, I just havent bolted it on yet

Why not turf over the gunwales?
Looks like you have the same elbow bruises like the squarenose gunwales give.

There is a body/ turf line there. I am hoping its not a big issue because it will look like HE!! turfed over the top!!!!! This is one down fall to the REV hull for sure!!!!!!

I just shape and glass the foam...they woudl be most similar to Blowsion REC holds...

I ride with right foot kicked into that hold perp to the gunwhale, with left foot in a strap 100% of the time..

mine is a wet layup surf hull.....about 95lbs

I got mine late august, just been slow on the build....
