My mounting bolt was broke on my plastic one so i thought ide make my own instead of buying a plastic one. I allready had a 15 foot long sheet of stainless sitting around... so why not? I think its going to look killer with matching paint thats on my pipe. p.s the edges still need to be trimmed up a bit.

Just thought i would share

It will break unless you mount all three points that the OEM cover mounts. Even then it may break.

Good luck.

Its allready been done lol no turning back might as well use it now.

i plan on useing the rubber mount with it, just waiting to get my grinder back so i can make the slot for it, might use a rubber grommet between where the bolts go through?

If it breaks, oh well it took me literally 45 mins to make, including the time it took to take the old one off that needed to be replaces in the first place

Be careful if its to heavy it can mess things up. I would use your metal one to form a fiberglass one, thats what we did on mine and it works awesome.
