I just read this thread again for it all !!

http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/84889-havasu-freestyle-finals-coverage&highlight=world+finals+2010

I had a blast watching this, and won’t be able to make it again, unfortunately!!!

  1. Does anyone know if there will be a live stream again? If so, what is the date and time it will begin please?
2. What is the age bracket for the youngest junior stock class please? I totally :love:LOVED:love: that!!! For some reason I am thinking it starts at 10 years old. (Edit: I read it again and answered this one question.)

From what i know he is running a 8mil stroker 862cc the same OLD COMBO that keeps willing amature for years even the old man pat bogart won with this motor combo. Any clue how many people won anature with this motor combo? I believe that is the engine that won last year too.. nationals and finals?? i do believe alex had a dasa 1100 sticker and said it was as a joke because so many people give him a hard time about his riding they can't believe how much training and how good he has got in the short amout of time..

See how he does at world.. he ain't no slacker in the riding department... There will be other good riders at finals go and see !!!

He had other funny stickers as well at each of the other rounds. Like fragile , handle with care, for rent, open for business .... Etc

Just say great job and leave it at that
sure nowdays the right equipment is helping riders exceed faster but keep in mind to he is around 40 and still riding with the young guys too

good for him!

Can anyone from anywhere compete, or do they have to be a resident for a certain amount of time?

you realize this is JETSKIIING, right?

The SuperFlip is by no means an Amateur trick. Granted, you need a $20k+ ski and some serious guts to pull it off, Freestyle needs some serious revisions in its rules.

+1 with the tricks and the way they are heading they need to lift the engine size to 1100 - 1200 when your spending that much money on a ski another 1-2k is not a big deal

amature class does NOT need to raise the engine size to 1100cc+! then there would be no difference between am and pro. 900cc is big enought. I give the guy props for doing that trick with under 900cc, way to go man!

Not to hate on you man but Your ski is not too different from his. Hell my ski is getting close to that price and it's a fiberglass version with b-pipe and oem pump...Just sayin.

You can also run billet cases and cylinders and have it built as a 650 cc. Point being tech is a joke. I have "been there and done that". Not speaking out of my ass on this one.

And I will say it again. Congrats on the Nat Championship to him.

Someone having an engine that is illegal or an illegal hull has been allowed or just plain not noticed for years. rrich who use to post here some started competing on a wammer hull back in 2003-2004. He even competed at the World Finals with that hull. Guess what. It was illegal then to compete and the tech guys either did not have a clue or just did not say anything. This is nothing new. TECH at races is a joke.

I might be wrong , but Alex is running the engine you are

I totally understand that, and my ski shouldn't even be Amateur legal. I'm running my set up just so I can stay fairly competitive. A standard backflip should barely be an Amateur trick, 3 years ago when Spencer Wells pulled off the backflip in Amateur, it was an epic moment in freestyle. Now there's guys doing no-footer flips in amateur class. Progression is great for our sport, but the rules need to at least be revised to keep up with the higher level of tricks that are now being done, such as a Expert Class.

People hated reed because is was the biggesr bitch. Nothing was ever his fault. The man is good, but for a long time all he knew how to do is cry.

Shanes, I love skinny girls. When they get so skinny that they have more veins bulging out of them in my erected weiner is where I draw the line.

I heard all those stickers were because he thinks his rickter is weak.

OK, but what about the other 18,000+ posts?
j/k

Aleks seems to have progressed pretty quickly in this class and has all the "right" equipment which might explain some of the "hatin".

The rules used to be if you won amateur Nationals you could compete at WF as an amateur, but the following year you had to move up.
I don't think there is room/need for an "expert" class these days.

i think you should just stop whining, and it time for you to step up your game since you have a equivalent ski, you been competing longer that anyone here, and the guys is been riding for just over a year, and you want him to go PRO, IMO

Im going ride, and try make it better
