First freestyle ski

Hi I started looking into freestyle skis. I haven't been on the water in a couple years since I've joined the army, but I want to start saving up so when I get out I can get right back out there. I dont really want to get something stock and just end up spending more money on an AM hull and all that good stuff. I want to look into getting one of the starter kits and dropping an engine in it.
I am about 220 lbs so what size engine would be ideal?
I also plan on riding flat water and surf so what hull would be most universal?
I have looked around and compared a lot of specs, just need some one with experience to give a little advice.
Since I have time to save I don't really have a budget, but Im expecting to spend between 5-8k to start, maybe more.
If you's can guide me in the ride direction I'd really appreciate it!

air blair

you are the reason
I have a few air blair skis I'm planning on selling. Hit me up for more info. They are a short recreational ski. Or I have a buddy in Texas that might sell his sxr.(no so much a freestyle ski)

I do love my v2 as a rec boat. Mine is a hybrid layup that comes in at about 85lbs. I'm 6'4" and 285. It has a Dasa 970 with dual 46s on pump gas and enhancer with a 155 pump. I can do areal 360s, flips and rolls on flatwater. It is stable as speed too. Its super fun chasing boat and in the surf.
