@yamaharider85 change your attitude man...its not problems; its questions you have never seen before like: "Hey what is the best intercooler for my modified 2021 Superjet? Fizzle, Riva or JetManiac's homemade version?" @JetManiac
LOL! :)
Or, "anyone make the GP1800 steering cable adapater for my 2021 Superjet? I keep snapping my turbo SJ cable"
where in so cal are you located?

FRom IPD's website:

The news is that the legendary Scott Watkins, which has not only been a driving force behind Yamaha Watercraft program, but a legend in the Jetski racing and freestyle community, is retiring next year, and right around the same time as the proposed release of the long-awaited new 4-stroke SuperJet stand-up. Supposedly this new addition to the lineup is modeled much after Kommander’s GP1 race ski, and if it’s anything like it, we can’t wait! The future of Yamaha is looking bright, and we are looking forward to many up and coming builds with many different Yamaha models, new and old….stay tuned.

Looks like a big turd

I heard the design was "average" but that photo looks like the adjustable pole might be a real feature. Rumored are dash panel for fuel, temp, etc

The photo also seems to align to the first pic with cover esp around the nose area

If this is real I hope that’s not the graphics. Maybe they left them off and just swapped graphics (perhaps there are multiple graphics options) for a photo shoot?

I agree, no way those are final graphics. The Yamaha text isn't even aligned parallel to any edge. Also, WTF is with the hard fiberglass rail tops, and why are they so tall...

Fingers crossed for 8/12...

132lbs lighter than competition, SXR1500 weight is 551lbs --> 419lbs vs the current 291lb SJ 700.
Damn, adding 130lbs! The TR1 in couch trim weighs 160lbs from what I read. I do not know how much a 701 engine weighs.

10 in shorter than competition, SXR1500 length is 104.5 in --> 94.5in vs the current 88.2in SJ 700. Not much longer!

I also don't know why a smoother engine is a selling point. The 701 is of course not as balanced as a triple, but I do not notice vibration or non-smooth power.

Am I alone in saying I like it? For once, a handlepole that has potential to keep. A hood design that looks like it seals. Rail trim that does not have a bunch of screws to fall out and jack up your holders hands. Maybe 55ish out of the box with no tune. Fiberglass rail caps make sense to me, unless your on a narrow tray 550 who the hell needs padded caps? Do I spy gauges at the base of the handlepole? My gripe, high degree backsweep bars, who runs those nowadays?
