First of all don't park outside the gate of crazy horse with all the other cars. You will get a ticket. I see the no parking sign now ugh..
Prepair to walk a long ways. And we have babies so bring a stroller we did not. We also brought just about the only kids haha.
You can't go in the pits unless you pay $60 for a wrist band. So for me times that by 4. And if kids are free which they might be times it by 2. Super lame. The pits have good beach area my children can play on and be content so I can watch racing. Bummer I don't know why.
So far there is not many spectators here. It's Thursday.
I am excited for the sxr. I hope it does what kawi wants it to do and bring younger riders in the sport. BTW I think it's sweet!
It's like a tiny Sema show! Every time I talk to some one who I think is American they turn out to be from Sweden, South Africa, France. It's mind bottling people come from so far away and spend $$$$$ to get here.
I have also never seen most of these skis in person. The boosted couches are insane fast. I want to ride one. "Don't judge me monkey." They look fun. And the real freestyle xscream skis I saw tonight at body beach are insane! Everybody's skis have so much power! They just huck out of the water! My trend setters glass chan is built quite pretty compared to the glass work on other freestyle skis. Cosmetically anyways. Except Rickters. Those are perfect. The new 1" square carbon is beautiful. Oh and the 4 stroke hydro space skis sound so weird. Low bass exhaust note. But still loud.
Food is typical race food prices. But the gyro is the best I have ever had. Just buy one though. It feeds at least two humans. And the garlic fries feed 4 humans. No wonder foreigners think we fat haha.
You can't ride by the races. But body beach is jetski heaven. It's close by and my dream place to ride. Minus the beer cans and tampons in the sand. "Sorry son I'm not going to let you play with that" haha. Its freaking busy and you expect the cops to show up any minute. After all you have to drive on a dirt road and past 3 no trespassing signs to get there. Anybody and everybody is there. It's pandalerium! The 400hp couch is launching next to a guy doing flips, and a 12 year old is ripping around the bouys. Some cool chick is shredding an led lit sj, and then some 650sx shows up just as a $30,000 Rickter pulls out. It's cool. I didn't get the chance to talk to anyone about skis, but I really want to ride some ones freestyle ski just to feel what a different setup feels like. Any who just some of my thoughts. Pics how we get around and me riding my home made chan.
