Buy once Cry Once. Best bet is to make it to some big rides where you can see and ride some different skis to see what you like. If going cheap you will be looking at Hurricans, Bobs, Phantoms, Carve, Piranah, etc. And stay as far away from eme hulls as you can.

We have been building RIODS, and there is NOTHING wrong with them. The build is easy. Much better than many other freestyle hulls I have seen. I will say, I have only seen one Micro and Q8 and I did not build those, so cannot comment.

Ive had multiple hulls that were asembled by top builders. Im building my xfs all myself, for quality reasons, if that tells you anything.

You can build a ski that will flat water flip for under 10k. I did it for 8k. With a xfr.

Dont listen to these guys. Ride your ski. Save your money. Hone your skills. Once your held back by your hull and engine. Upgrade.

If your dead set on getting sime crutches to improve your riding. Wait till november or December and skis will be almost half what they are now.
