Well tomorrow will be my first time riding in surf, not to mention the first time riding this ski haha. Any helpful hints or suggestions out there to keep me out of trouble? Thanks

Never let go- I mean NEVER. The second the ski gets away from you, you increase the chances of it sinking or it landing on you by about 1000%

If your going to Pismo, It was so small today, Ive seen bigger waves in the lake. May not count as surf, lol. Close your eyes before you get smacked with a wave.
No tow rope riding solo and yea thecoz pismo! I've always trained myself to hang on cause I hated chasing my 550 so hopefully I'm good lol

Where are you from? Are you going to be out sat/sun too? Wear a lanyard, or turn the idle down so the ski dies. Bad luck to keep it going!

Id get wet suit brotha! Ive done it without, it isnt fun. Even cheap 1 will work. mechanics gloves, and an old pair of shoes. Helmet too! Yes sat and sunday I will be there. It was perf day for you today. Small no wind and warm. Should get a lil bigger this weekend.
Thanks bro I'll see if I can't pick up a suit before I get there. I'll be camped by sand highway. White lifted 96 Chevy on boggers and lots of other toys. If you spot me come grab a cold beer! I'll see if I can spot you to.

put in a bilge pump if you havent got one, and plan on surf ridding often. have fun

Should NEVER ride solo.
Try not to let the first one happen, the second is inevitable. Like others have said, hang on, be smart, have fun!
^^^ Yep, that is going to happen to pretty much any one who has done it once and is close enough to do it often. My suggestion to people riding surf for the first time is, prepare your ski before you go that first time because most likely you will want to go back as often as possible!
