Two questions:

1) How do you fit the Watercraft Factory pad to the XMW pole?

2) Is there anything about fitting a new pole that isn't a pain in the arse? :banghead:

On the XMW pole, you need to cut about 1/4" off the blunt-tipped "ears" that stick out and then drill and tap the newly-created flush surface. Mount two bolts through the pad and to these points, then drill and tap two holes at the top surface of the pole and mount here too.

Ugh! Back to Lowes....

Gump - I'll give you a call if I get stuck, but I can see what I need to do now.

It's always good to have something to keep you busy right before Daytona....

Well, I got the side holes drilled just like in your pic, but now the handlebars catch the underside of the pad.... I'll give you a call in the morning Steve.

Damnit man. You always have us wrenching 10 minutes before we're leaving.

What was it? Smith ride? "You ready?......wait I forgot to put my motor back in":haha:

That's better than wrenching on the beach like you always do...:cheer:

Screw you! that was once!

Whats funnier is when I'm right over Adrian(Which doesnt happen often at all)

***After Installing his ADA head before smith lake 05***
Me - "Ummm....dont you need to put in those head bolts?"
Him - "Nah the Girdled studs and nuts hold it down."
Me- "Well theres still holes for them."
Him-"Nah Thats just incase you didnt get the girdle version"

..Gets to smith lake...Harrison asks him where his head bolts are:haha: Now drives back home to get them only to find out that i had locked his garage side door which he had no key....or a work garage door opener....

I cant remember how he got back in:haha:

AS much ******** as he gives me.....he deserves a little too:arms:

Nevermind - I figured it out. It's all good now. I stood on my ski in the garage for a while making braaap! noises while trying out the new pole. I like it already! Can't wait to get it on the water :woot:

And Jesse, while we're giving each other sh*t, can you explain why the balls are rusted up in all my ratchets meaning that the sockets fall off all the time? Can you? Huh? :sneaky: I'll buy you some tide tables this time for your beachside wrencing....

Let's see---once in Daytona with your CDI and once in Panama with you battery issue.

That makes two, sunshine! :cheer:

Counting swapping batteries as "wrenching" is like calling cutting toenails surgery

That was a complete accident....I wasnt use to the surfs....ummm...."unstable conditions":sneaky:

Have you tried soaking them in a degreaser? and then 3n1 oil? I thought some wd40 would have fixed it but if not let me know and we'll soak 'em. If they are really screwed you need to elt me know so i can buy you replacements

seems last year at daytona I remember you fiddling with your electrical box.....

if you are facing the water, your ski was to the right of the sidewalk...up on the seawall...there was room for only 2 boats there...yours, and someone elses (dont know who's it was).....

how can I remember this, but not what I had for breakfast and hour ago? :dunno:
