Fixed my BOB Gen 3 problems

Showing the work I did on my BOB Gen3 hull. & just starting my first thread to keep documents and help others with this same project. I will try and go more in depth as I post more pictures.

Supplies from US Composites:
1 gallon kit 3:1 epoxy resin
4oz S-glass
6oz S-glass
12oz Biaxial
3m glass bubbles(filler)
Black pigment


The tray was water logged due to the firewall having big gaps letting water in. The rear bond of the tray was not bonded allowing water in as well. I cut the tray open and began the crappy task of removing all the foam! I removed all the lines except the exhaust. Got it all clean out and prepped. Then I poured epoxy down the insides of the bond rails to ensure they were sealed and bonded(glad I did cause the epoxy seeped our in some spots). I reinforced inside the tray, sealed the firewall up from both sides(epoxy and S-glass). I ran new lines.

The new lines:
Cooling- 3/8” stainless brake line from NAPA
Trimcable- 3/8” PVC from Lowe’s
Steering- 1/2” PVC from Lowe’s
Scupper- 2” PVC from Lowe’s
