Blaster Fixing a Crack in the Hull?

iv read a few recommend an epoxy resin compared to a fiberglass repair kit?

any links to what some of you may have used in the past that worked well for you?

any videos showing the process of the repair with said product?

Only use epoxy resin... poly resin won't adhere to smc and will fail... no need to start the "what part is smc and what is glass" debate... polly will work on fiberglass but not smc.. epoxy will work on smc and glass... just use epoxy if you're not educated on what is what...
If you can get behind it do the repair from the inside and cosmetic repair on the outside... if not.. grind it out gradually and keep the repair below the surface and do cosmetic over top.... also if you're repairing from the outside use a mat not cloth so you won't sand through it...

Since the blaster is not full smc polyester or vinylester will work fine with chopped strand (mat) and e-glass. Unless you are repairing the inner liner, bulkhead, or hood epoxy is not required.

I like to use the materials per the repair. Use epoxy only when needed.

West Systems is proven over and over again, it really is hard to beat it. I buy it by the gallon with fast and slow hardener. Use the pump kit to meter it out correctly. It has a shelf life measured in years and has many uses around the house.

Thanks for the info guys.....I have 2 cracks that need fixing.....one the the bottom left and another on the top deck on the same side....both can be gotten to through the engine bay
