Fixing killswitch?

93 750sx finally runs good again, starting switch works fine but when I hit the stop button... no stop. Pull lanyard and nothing too. I did put the tethered switch plate on it. Where should I start for figuring it out?

The rubber boot has a hole in it and the switch is full of corrosion. The Kawasaki switch is easier to fix than Yamahas, all you need to do is clean it out and replace the boot. Look for a new Tigershark switch on ebay, they are the same internally.

Where can you purchase the rubber boots? I fixed mine, then bought a used switch and plan on just soidering in the new button to my nicer unit.
