Fixing side dents in SJ

hit it with a heat gun for a couple minutes and then push it out while it cools. Cut a 2x4 that you can wedge across to the other side of the engine compartment and you won't have to hold it.

Do what GDFL said then re-enforce it from the inside so it won’t go back to the original position.

I'm totally baffled why it's so much worse than every other hull I've seen. I'll probably just end up filling it with glass because it's so noticeable that it would be pointless to paint it without fixing it first. I would try the heat thing but I've already glassed the inside with biaxial.

me too. I did the heat gun trick to get it close and then had to use just a touch of filler to make it perfect before paint. It's still holding up 2 years later .

my rn has them on both rear sides too. it is weird the bond line even dips in slightly. nobody even notices it unless i piont it out!
