Flame arrestors coming apart

Is it normal for them to come apart?

I have a set (riva racing) from a blaster2 I pulled off and they started to come apart. Pretty much the mesh is coming apart at the top.

I then decided to pull my nice blowsion/tauceti"s off my conversion ski and they didnt last very long either.
These ones were purchased off Ebay.

Could I have some other issue going on that would be causing them to come apart? Anyone have this issue? Maybe it's just a coincidence?

Nope, normal. The taller ones do it quicker. Tau ceti/hot products warranties theirs, Idk about Riva
