Flame Arrestors for 49mm Full Spectrum carbs.

Simple question. Where can I find Flame Arrestors / Air Filters with an Inner Diameter of 49mm to fit over a Full Spectrum 49mm carb?

Will an adaptor be required?

A Prok should fit nicely.

I believe that's what Ed recommends.
No adapter.

Largest ID I am seeing is 40 - 44mm.

Fits the 48, and the outside diameter of the bell should be the same for the 49.

I have been very pleased with the K & N s. They seem to hold together better than the proks.

I bought Riva filters from Jet ski solutions for 49 Full spec carbs.

He gave me a good price.

Yup. Supposed to funnel it right into the bomb sight.

Ocean Pro first utilized that with the Vortex Flame Arrestors. Design is good, just they (Prok) do not hold up well to all the crap in the gas these days.

What happens to them?
I ran an older ProK last year, and it's held up great.

the ones with the black plastic hold up better than the ones with the clear or colored plastic. Granted, there are some that are holding up better than others. just seen several that fell apart. I know Tricky, Yamacat, Chris (friend of mine) and a few others who have been through them.

The one I ran last year was black plastic.
I am still running that, along with a new clear one.
