Other FLAME - ECU Connectivity; Help!

I had a bad cable once....same issues.
I assume you mean the USB accessory cable, not the one affixed to the ECU?
The friend I borrowed the cable from had some trouble with drivers but ultimately was able to connect and set his curve. It was new from ATP at the time, I am the second to use it and it still looks perfect so I am assuming there is something wrong with the ECU or female connector. IDK
 
This is a bench test off ski, so no lanyard being used.
I have tried it both on desktop and laptop with same results.
Have tried both, but mostly curve A.
The lead is plugged all the way in.
All the wires on the ECU look good but I am thinking about cutting off the test terminal and soldering on a fresh one. The way it is made I can see that the solder connections are good but can't see if the female connector is sound inside. Any other ideas?
If you're bench testing it, you still need to energize the unit with a battery, otherwise it can't connect.
