I thought they performed about the same but the flame is easier to waterproof and has better curve programming. Some will say the hot spark on a msd makes it better but not noticeable for me.

I have run them both Currently running Flame ts2 way easier than MSD I didn't notice a difference in performance
Plus MSD brains SUCK
MSD will leave you hanging on warranty and tech ATP is always easy to deal with and returns phone calls and Emails F MSD They have screwed me over for the last time If you a have issue with any thing its always a charge or your fault

Does ATP now have warranty? Nothing was done for all the failed epics

I use the twin spark combined with an ultra light flywheel in my TPE1105, its fakkin awesome. Service is brilliant from the ATP team, we ask for and recieve loads of advice from Chris :)

Funny thing is this is how XJCrawler got his. :)
Truerider411 got his, mine all went in the trash unfortunately. Sorry I wasnt trying to turn this into a bash fest, but when mine failed there was no warrenty to help me. BTW your billet ebox is the best I've seen

For me, ease of installation and total flexibility of programming. You can set a twin spark with a gap between them say 7degrees, then at a point combine the spark, and also programme two switchable curves .

Customer service is great (ok you may say im only 120miles away from ATP) but Chris ALWAYS answers our questions and provides advice on all matters for us

Oh and it looks fantastic all snug in the billet E box as well :D

Oh, and its also worth mentioning that with the ultra lightweight flywheel , it i possible to torque the flywheel on and then using a 5mm ball end allen key, adjust and tighten stator plate as reqd.

Pick up air gap easy to check

Static timing adjustment is a breeze

Chris always help me, ATP service is on the top !

I've tried old flame and msd on same engine, msd perform just a little better but hard to say (I know my ski very well). Flame was in oem ebox and lots of work to enclose msd.
In the end, I prefer atp and I haven't tested the TS2 at this time and with their light flywheel I'm pretty sure it will perform the same than MSD, but easy to fit in hull with small oem ebox, probably my next ignition
