flash flood back yard jetskiing

i was board just watching it rain so stacy (wavegoddess) and i grabed my ski for a few hot laps around my flooded pit bike track. it was thundering, lightining and the water was fairly swift. there was alot of debris like trash cans kids yard toys and i even seen a large ice chest go by. the creek is normaly dry but a few hard rains a year.

I forgot to try some tricks, I was kind of nervous about the lightening, sucking something up in the pump, or wiping out and going down the creek bouncing off trees on the way to the 10ft water fall. Where the water wasn’t rushing fast it was less then 3 ft deep, makes set up wakes a lil' trickier. Maybe next time ill try to go a ½ mile up stream where they close the road and have a cop telling people to "Turn around don’t drown". I still have to get my bridge out of the tree.

You might as well make the best out of a bad situation and hopefully you won't be using the rooftop as a ramp anytime soon.

Only thing that would have made that more fun to watch would have been a backyard backflip. Though you may want to flush that puppy with some fresh water, looks to be a little brown

We have monsoons out here and the water gets really high really fast. I want to drop my ski in the wash and just go at it some time too. The hey neighbor was awesome!

Yea I thought we were nuts for riding in ice and snow!!! Shallow water worries me way more.
